I heard that in Indonesia there is no word or concept of the “terrible twos.”
No one seems to notice if a child is crying or screaming.
This is because it is perceived as normal for children.
In Japan, people who like children and those who don’t treat them differently.
I think it’s about half and half.
Certainly, there are people who find crying children annoying.
Looking back now, I realize that my desire to “not cause trouble” prevented me from being more accepting of my child’s “rebellious” phase.

Can I ask a question?
◎How do the adults in your life react to children going through the “terrible twos”?
